Just one week after competing in Pittsburgh, team 515 headed to Iowa City to the ninth annual Cornshucker Classic. The Columbia Lions finished in tenth place, with a 5-3 record. What a way for 515 to end their fall season!
Founded in 1998, CUMT has since developed into one of the top programs in the nation. In the past five years, Columbia has placed five teams in the top ten at the National Championships and in 2004, was the National Championship Runner-Up. CUMT has won four Regional Championships and the students who comprise the program have won over 110 awards, including nine All-American awards.
